Welcome to Bella Vista Cocina, where passion and flavour come alive! Dennis, a proud Costa Rican with over 18 years of industry expertise, brings the vibrant culture of his homeland into every dish. Melanie, originally from the diverse landscapes of Canada and beyond, has honed her self-taught home cooking skills, infusing every meal with creativity and warmth . Together, we blend our unique backgrounds to create a culinary experience that’s both authentic and welcoming, capturing the essence of Costa Rican hospitality.

Our little family extends to our five beloved American Staffies and Michi the cat who keep us safe and infuse every moment with their infectious and playful spirits. Beyond our kitchen, we find solace in the art of spearfishing (especially at night!)- an exhilarating pursuit that mirrors our passion for exploring the uncharted.

Our love for the culinary arts knows no bounds. We've enjoyed taking authentic cooking classes across the globe, to help us continually refine and expand our expertise. It's this shared journey that has culminated in the unique Costa Rican experience we're thrilled to share with you.
